Education Satire
The Animal School: A Fable
In this genre there was a story about animals organizing a school to solve their problems. They designed content where some animals excelled in while others seemed to fail. Some broke down, some became over tired, which hurt their grades, and others totally achieved success. This is similar to what we face today. Some students excel while others struggle. Each animal can represent each ethnicity, race, gender, etc… Each content area represents the general education classes we are all required to take. The ones we excel in are the ones we prefer to major in and enjoy. This story shows that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. College for some people isn’t the right choice. We must make our own choices for what is best for us.

College Education and Technology
This genre was about technology taking over traditional classrooms. Today techonology is playing a big role in education and I can’t even imagine the role it will play in the future. In the article they discussed a museum of obsolete classroom objects such as a desk, a chalkboard, an chalkboard eraser, a notebook, a text-book, and much more. To me classroom technology may change but not to the extent in which they believe there won’t even be a classroom with desks. The article also states that almost all classrooms in the United States will be out of use by 2020. This is a statement I highly disagree with. To me schools will always be changing but there will always be a traditional classroom with new technology.

Honest Education Ad
This video ad was funny to watch. It defiantly held my attention. It was all the stereo types about college in a short ad. If a University really had an ad it wouldn’t be anything like the one I just watched. They would want to make their school look good. They would give interesting statistics, talk about how great their sports are as well as academics, talk about the ratio of professor to student, give you reasons why their university is the best.
